This 3-hrs awareness seminar aims to explore the current issues and challenges faced for environmental-friendly or green additives, pigments, solar reflective coatings and trends in carbon footprint certification. The introduction of new chemicals and additives, reduction of heavy metals in infra-red reflective pigments improves environmental safety, however, they have also brought uncertainties in long term durability performance of paints and coatings.
