Energy Labelling

Energy Labelling

Energy-efficiency labels are affixed on manufactured products describing the product’s energy performance and rating on a comparative scale. Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) has developed a scheme in collaboration with stakeholders which aims to provide information on energy performance so that consumers can make informed decisions while purchasing. Participation in this is voluntary and currently applicable for frost-free refrigerators, tubular florescent lamps, distribution transformer, room air conditioners and direct cool refrigerators.
